Most GREEN MAN PRESS titles are produced from a single source, but occasionally critical editions are offered. All the editions aim to be practical editions for use by performers. Green Man Press is committed to

being faithful to the original musical source
providing performers with a clear reading of the work
making clear what the editor has or has not done

In addition, for each piece in Series A, Cantatas, Arias & Motets, the text is set out, and a literal translation is provided. Also provided is a basic keyboard continuo for those who do not easily read from figured bass.

The objective of Series B, Vocal Concerti, is to make available works for concerted voices and continuo, at as low a cost as possible. These consist of scores with figured bass only, without translations. They are sold as a set, with one score for the continuo and one eash for the singers.

The new SERIES C, Arrangements and Transcriptions, are available through a collaboration with Classical Vocal Reprints of USA, and are transcribed and edited by James Ode.
